Dr. Natasha Marrero
Licensed clinical psychologist providing online Therapy for Women, anxiety, stress, and grief (individual and group therapy) in both English and Spanish in Florida.
Hi, I’m Dr. Natasha Marrero!
I’m a bilingual clinical psychologist in Florida. I help women of all ages reconnect with themselves, their strengths, and a life that they love.
Therapy with me is a space where you can take a breath, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to build the tools and confidence to move through challenges with more steadiness. We’ll work together to help you find relief and make changes you want to see, whether you’re facing a life transition, grief, stress, anxiety, or insomnia.
You don’t have to face this season of life alone. There are times in each of our lives when we need more support, and I’m here to provide that care for you.
This is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect.
I’ll help you learn to connect with your values, needs, and sense of self. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of how you think and feel, and practical ways to care for yourself when life feels overwhelming. Small, meaningful shifts build over time, leading to more balance, presence, self-trust, and confidence.
We are constantly evolving
I’m passionate about working with women navigating transitions like motherhood, career changes, moving, and roles or identity shifts; the times when life feels both tender and transformative. As a bilingual therapist, I provide compassionate support for:
Anxiety — anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, constant worry, or physical tension that’s hard to shake. Using evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, I help clients understand their anxiety, challenge unhelpful patterns, and find calm in their everyday lives.
Grief — loss can take many forms. The death of a loved one, a change in identity, or a shift in life circumstances. I help clients process their grief at their own pace, making space for both pain and healing while finding meaning and connection again.
Insomnia — sleep struggles often go hand-in-hand with stress or anxiety. I use CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) and behavioral strategies to help clients improve sleep quality, develop healthier routines, and wake feeling more rested and restored.
Life Transitions — big changes, whether becoming a parent, starting a new job, or moving to a new place, can bring uncertainty and emotional upheaval. Together, we explore how to navigate these shifts with greater self-compassion, confidence, and clarity.
Stress — chronic stress can leave the body and mind in overdrive. In therapy, we identify what’s fueling that stress and build personalized coping tools to help create more balance and ease.
I’ll give you the tools and support so that you can make the changes that you want to see in your life.
List of therapies I offer:
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) Skills
Motivational interviewing (MI)
Person-centered therapy
Solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT)
What is it like to work with me?
I provide a comfortable environment for you to explore and grow. I believe we foster healing when you feel supported and free to share about your experiences honestly. From there, we build awareness, self-compassion, and practical tools to help you navigate life with more clarity and confidence.
We'll collaborate throughout therapy because you are the expert on your own life. I’m here to guide, empower, and gently challenge you to look at things from new perspectives. Positive change happens when you can simply be yourself in a supportive environment.
Reconnect with who you are and what you want out of life.
I’m here to walk this path with you.
Therapy is an opportunity to learn about yourself, your strengths, and coping strategies to help improve your quality of life.
Let’s work together to create meaningful, lasting change.
Uncover your strengths and build a life you love.
Want to learn more about me?
The person….
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where the ocean has always been my calm place. My childhood was filled with family, friends, and long weekends at the beach that taught me how grounding it can be to slow down, breathe, and just be present.
I grew up surrounded by strong, resilient women. The only man around was my grandfather, and being raised by a single mother and a family of women who led with both strength and sensitivity shaped me deeply. From them, I learned empathy, emotional depth, and the courage to show up authentically. I also developed a deep appreciation for the quiet strength it takes to hold so much, especially for women who are constantly balancing care for others with care for themselves.
Even as a child, I was the one who listened closely and whom people naturally came to for guidance. When I began studying psychology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, I realized that helping others was more than intuition; it was a calling for me. I saw that psychology wasn’t just about giving advice; it was about understanding the human mind, embracing its complexity, and honoring the beauty of change. That realization inspired me to pursue a doctoral program.
The path wasn’t always easy. As a first-generation graduate student raised by a single mom, I had to find my way in spaces that were often new and unfamiliar. Living through Hurricane María and the 2020 earthquakes changed how I understood trauma and resilience. Later, moving to New Orleans for my predoctoral internship expanded my world again. I learned to adapt, connect, and grow while staying rooted in where I came from.
Somewhere along that journey, I also learned the importance of doing my own healing. Going to therapy helped me become a better psychologist and a more grounded human being.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me exploring new places, trying new foods, watching the sunset, or spending time with the people I love. Those moments recharge me and remind me why I do this work.
The professional….
I was drawn to listening and helping others at a young age, and studying psychology gave that instinct both structure and depth. Once I began my undergraduate studies, I quickly realized psychology was far more complex and meaningful than I had imagined. It offered a way to combine my curiosity about people with my desire to help others find clarity, meaning, and growth in their lives.
My training has taken me across a variety of settings, including inpatient behavioral health, rehabilitation programs, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health clinics, and private practice. Working in these diverse environments gave me the opportunity to support individuals across the lifespan and with a wide range of clinical needs, and solidified my passion for women’s mental health.
My professional path has been one of ongoing reflection and learning. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, where each person brings their own wisdom and lived experience. My role is to help patients reconnect with their strengths, make sense of their stories, and rediscover their capacity for balance, self-compassion, and change.
Looking back, I feel immense gratitude for the risks I took and the dreams I pursued to get here. Each step of my journey has reinforced my belief that growth is not about perfection, but about showing up, again and again, with openness and courage. That’s what I hope to offer to every person who comes to therapy with me.
